vita a lato (side life) is an attempt to raise the question: why are crushed-on-roads-animals invisible? we live in circumstances where the accidental death of what is considered non-human goes totally unnoticed to the point of becoming part of the daily routine, usually marked by the distances covered – likely – to get to work, to friends, to relatives or even just to go shopping. how can we reflect on concepts such as normality, ordinary, routine, attention, coexistence, respect?
