a mini pond is somehow a true reflection of how life constantly unravels and shrinks to make space to the passage of the breathing creatures, when these creatures encounter each other there's an entire world of interactions you can witness to: hunting, fishing, stone skipping, web tangling, rhabdomancy, treasure hunting, lighting fires, fighting for life and death, making war, making peace. deep in the pond (not so deep) is a treasure coming from an ancient future, a marvellous silver magic ring, representing the teleological purpose of futile places or activities. serendipity is a great tool to comunicate this concept since it is now thoroughly accepted and embedded in capitalist productive workflow. here we want to show the end is in itself, not producing anything outside the mere simple activity. In this storm of weird ideas and half thoughts stand and swim the tales of a fisherwoman trying to catch whatever she can, of a monstrous and omnivorous frog-snake, of a lazy but relentless stone skipper and the story of the ring, clearly inspired by michela salvi's work, and the upcoming story of the dowser seeking water and underground treasures.
